My name is Faina West-Friesen, and I'm working in financial industry. Until the pandemic I had no idea about photography, let alone Streetphotography. During the months of very limited leisure activities, I started to get interested in photography and learned the basics from different books and YouTube channels. I bought a DSLR and tried experimenting. After a few months I changed the brand and the system and went for a Sony DSLM which I swapped against the Fuji system that I'm very happy with. After about a year of experimenting I discovered Street and Urban Photography for myself and since then I'm strolling the city of Frankfurt and elsewhere almost every weekend searching for light, shadow and lines.

IT TOOK ME HALF A CENTURY TO FIND MY PASSION !
